1. If this is to be "throwback uniform" then make it a throwback uniform, not some sort of Phil Knight nightmare, if Oregon's colors were scarlet and gray piece of bull shit.

2. Why would you have a "throwback game" in which only one team does a throwback.

4. God I hate to say this, but look at the Yankees; when was the last time you saw them wear a throw up, err, throwback uniform? Winners don't have to change uniforms to keep fans interested.

Using the word "throwback" to describe the alternate jersey's is an insult to my intellegence.

again...the offical press release does not use the word 'throwback'...

Gene smith says part of the uniform will pay tribute to the 1954 team...the only people who are using the word 'throwback' to describe the uniform are the people posting in this thread.

Personally, I'm not a fan of these uniforms...but I do like the gray pants. Haven't seen those in awhile. :)

Number style on the jersey (particularly the black outline)= Terrible

Don't care for the numbers on the helmet, would look better blank or even with scarlet numbers

The nitting on the shoulders looks dumb, theres no reason they can't make the webbing the same color as the jersey so it doesn't stand out

Don't know where they found that shade of gray, looks like a charcoal gray type color, doesn't seem anything like our shade. The shoulders look like a charcoal gray/pink combination more then anything else

The gloves are cool, but theres no reason they wouldn't work with a current jerseys or even the new make of the jersey properly designed to look like our current ones do

So they're paying tribute to the 1954 team by using a helmet they never wore?

The press release was very specific about an homage to that one team. This is a casserole of multiple eras, including the winged oregon era and beyond.
