Those don't look like throwbacks to me :(

Unfortunate kudos to Numbers (not because he's right, good work, but because those aren't what we hoped for...)

ok, they would not look TOO horrible if they did not have the crap on the top of the shoulders

and where in the hell did they get the number on the side of the helmet from?? that is definitely not a part of the uniform that the '54 team wore (or any Ohio State team as far as I know)
the thick red stripe helmet had a number, but not the 54 team AFAIK.

Folks outside BP are going to look up and see film on TV and they're not going to know it's Ohio State. You may not like the winged helmet, but everytime you see it on TV you know it's Michigan. That's brand identification. The "silver bullets" gave us that and this shoots that in the ass. What you see is Nike brand identification, not Buckeye brand id. Sell your soul.

my money only goes to tOSU through licensed apparel. i won't buy this jersey, because i don't wear jerseys. but i think it looks pretty fuckin sick. i like the dark gray pants and the block o on them. i like the gray sleeves, and i the helmet. not a big fan of the numbers, but overall i don't think it's that bad, or that big of a deal.

if i were an alum, or a traditionalist, i may have a reason to be upset. i do think it's weak that they are being passed off as "throwbacks," but i like the design. it's new, it's different, it's evolution. however much money grabbing or not.

Whatever.

Doesn't matter, even though I won't know who is playing when I turn on the TV. I just don't understand why we'd roll out alternate jerseys in Michigan's house. That's kind of a slap in the face to them, and not a good slap like on the field slap.

I like the throwback/revisionist/futurist design, but it does look a little too CFLish for me. The only thing this fixes are the silver sleeves that Buckeyes wear when it gets cold. I don't like the sleeves down to the wrists.

All I care about it beating Michigan. I do hope Gene Smith asks "throwbacks, huh?"

The noles had the feathers, you should have some buckeyes on there somewhere.
that would be even worse than those shoulder patches Chris Leak wore.

The pants are loosely based on the throwback pants. This is all a ploy for gimmick jerseys.
