I think this jersey change is horrible, and no I don't like it 1 bit.

I do know that it is more or less going back in time:

But that doesn't mean I like the jersey or am looking forward to it. I've been looking through this thread, but don't see if officially announced where the pants have changed. Are they still the same, or are some of the member renderings more what they will look like?

I dont think anyone likes the jerseys but its to late to do anything about it. When we open the season against NIU, i am absolutely positive that all of us on this board will cheer just as loud as we would in the old jerseys. I think that tOSU knows that the fans do not like the jerseys and hopefully will change back next year but untill then we have to live with them and hopefully win a national title in them.

Ummm.....

I have a Scarlet #7 that I wear when OSU is home.
I have a White #8 that I wear when OSU is away.

When I got the 7, Germaine wore it. When I got the 8.... hmmm... when did I get the 8... Oh, it was Bellasauri's number then.... Anyway, I say that so you can appreciate the "Style" of them.

So, OSU changes their jersey... you know what I'm gonna do?

On home dates, I'm going to wear the trusty old Scarlet #7 that I've worn since 1996.
On Away dates, I'm gonna wear the same old trusty white #8..

And you know what? People will know what the fuck team I'm rooting for.

I wouldn't want to get rid of them. But I'm superstitious enough that I don't think they should be changed cause we also wore them to the Fiesta in 2003, 2004 and 2006. And every Fiesta Bowl we've been to since then.

This year is National Championship is at the Fiesta, and if we're there without the same jersey we've worn for the last 3 out of 4 years at the Fiesta, will we get the win? Superstitious me says I hope so, but am worried already. . . :biggrin:

I know you're not asking me, but I wear my jersey's precisely because I'm superstitious.

Rest easy, folks, it's not what the team is wearing that matters, it's what IM wearing.

Oh, and that one dude I know who has to change his hat in a particular way.. if he fucks up, you'll know it.

My reaction to the new jersey is a big fat "Who cares?"

I truly do not understand the level of angst that so many fans have regarding the styling of uniform components. Do you all watch the Oxygen channel to find out what Isaac Mizrahi has in mind for his fall line?

Any ideas what we're gonna call this game? The National Championship Game? Seems a little long when you could just say Fiesta Bowl, but then, the Fiesta, as you observe, isn't the NCG... ANd, hell, we haven't even talked about sponsership yet..
