Illinois has apparently been playing better football so far this year than they had since mid-Zook. If they finish the season out with reasonable competence, I'd expect them to stick with Cubit.Crazy. Now up to 8 D1/FBS openings, 3 of them in the Big Ten, and it's not even November.
Rutgers and Purdue are gonna be stuck keeping their coaches just because it'd be a bad business decision to try and shop for one this off season.
That's only when the said coach decides to make an agreement to manage his stress levels and spend more time with family while getting back into coaching and winning a national championship.Just so I'm clear ... we're taking the high road and wishing him well, right?

And the former team goes into shambles because they made a bad hire. That's only when the said coach decides to make an agreement to manage his stress levels and spend more time with family while getting back into coaching and winning a national championship.
Honestly, I've always thought that Kill was a little overrated as a coach since he got to Minnesota. They might be better off without him.Illinois has apparently been playing better football so far this year than they had since mid-Zook. For that matter, given how Minnesota played for Claeys last time Kill was out, if they finish the season reasonably well now, they may want to consider sticking with him.
