I'm always happy to see Assistant's get promotions... the Thad Matta tree grows! I'm sure if this does happen, Thad will get another great Assistant, or promote Paulas.
but then we will have to find another video coordinator:) I know what you mean. I will be happy for Coach Boals but he will a tremendous loss to the Ohio State staff.

I can't help but think about how Gary Waters, built the Kent State program and then left for Rutgers. Stan Heath, then an assailant at Sparty, took the job Waters behind at Kent. The Kent program was stacked by MAC standards,
and Heath went on to Arkansas after only one season.

Ohio fans are kinda afraid of a one and done situation. If the new head coach can keep the whole team intact and the incoming players together... Ohio could be an at-large type team next season. (if they schedule the right way)

One reason so many alums want Boals. He might stick around longer than a normal up and coming coach (Hoping that Boals = Shaka/Stevens/Few)
