Does anyone think that Boals would consider the Miami University job if they were to come knocking? A friend who was on staff for several years under Coles says that if Miami was going to hire from within, they would have already done so, and that Coles' health and the lack of a succession plan has really hurt their recruiting the past few years. So the cupboards will not be full (even relatively speaking for a mid-major). My friend says that Boals is high on Miami's list.

The first thought that came to my mind when I saw that Coles was retiring was that Boals would get the job. He has familiarity with the MAC then this would be a nice step for his career. There would certainly be a blow to our program and it would be interesting to see who Matta would bring in to replace him.
