Jason Kidd traded to Dallas - finally

.....to Dallas for Stackhouse, George, Devin Harris, Lasagna flop, 2 firsts and another turd.

I guess Shaq and Gasol made them re-think their stance.

That's a hell of a lot to give up for one old player.

Dallas doesn't have a whole lot of time left to stay elite in the West. They clearly need someone to get them over the hump so they're basically doing what Miami did a couple years ago: putting together a veteran team for one last run at the championship.

The classic part of that trade is Stackhouse might have his contract bought out and then Dallas can re-sign him in 30 days.

Wish Cleveland could have pulled something together but Dallas gave them alot more than the Cavs could ever give.

Not sure I am a fan of this trade for Dallas...

They already have Terry...Why bring in Kidd...Those aren't really two guys that can make a lineup that great together...

Harris was a better fit as he actually has length...

New Jersey clears cap, gets two first rounders, and gets a solid pg in Deven Harris who will now be able to excel as he won't be playing with all stars like Dirk, Howard, and not an all star but a good player in Terry...

I still think SA is the team to beat in the West...But they have 4 very strong teams with SA, Dallas, PHX, and LA...

NJ will have Harris and Ager for next season at a total of around $8Mil. That's a 12mil savings over Kidd. Dallas had to go for it now, like mentioned earlier.

NJ sucks with or without Kidd.

Not too excited one way or the other.
