Franklin went from Vandy to Ped so he doesn't really have an understanding until now what it means to be at a great program.

Like when we were all kids we all thought our Dad's were the strongest BAMF's of life. Well you get around other Dad's (other schools) and realize how wrong you were.

Same thing here. He probably thought how amazing Ped would be with their big stadium and history (LOL), but has to realize now that this certainly isn't the top of the pinnacle for him if he were to want to pursue the top programs

If an actual top program came knocking, all this "I'm from PA" nonsense wouldn't mean a thing. But aTm isn't going to do it. The fact that this story has as much traction as it does on twitter and around the water cooler here is because their fanbase knows it.

He's already getting paid top dollar, top 5 recruiting class right now, has the state of PA and the northeast to find players, immense job security

Isn't he already at a top program? It's no Bama, Oklahoma, tOSU, but just a tier below I'd say. A&M would be a side move at best.

all sick fucking cult stuff aside, Penn State football status is a significant step above TAMU
