FSU's response to the NY Times investigation:

http://fsunytimes.fsu.edu/
The university expresses its deep disappointment in today's New York Times story [...]

They go on to highlight all of their sexual assault policies that they failed to abide by in the Winston case. Unfortunately for FSU, the report covered what actually happened and not what FSU has written down in their guidelines.

What an utter joke.

Florida State is a a semi pro football and baseball team with a community college attached.

The fact that Tallahassee is the capital of that god forsaken state is something about as fitting as you will ever find.

Sunny place. Shady people.

The farther in the NYT article I get, the more pissed off I get. What in the hell, how does this kind of massive fuck up happen, and how does it not get called out faster?

First PedSU, this, and then scUM. What the heck? How everyone involved in the city PD office isn't facing sanctions or their heads rolling, I don't know. This is about as clear a case of an intentionally botched case I can think of. They grabbed the bar's security tapes for a different case that didn't involve any star athlete, but somehow don't think to get the tapes when the victim makes a statement that might suggest being drugged? Then the University clams up. Have there been records requests made of the University, and if not, why not?
