Jameis Winston (QB Browns)

No, but every QB should strive to go to a location that will maximize/monetize his abilities. If Tampa is dumb enough to take Jameis and let Mariota fall to the Titans, more power to them. Although you make a good point about the supporting offensive cast in TB....I still don't expect that team to amount to anything.
At least it's not Cleveland. Lovie is at least trying to make smart decisions and trying the build an offense. He doesn't blow first round picks on espn overhyped guys like Johnny. Never know, with a good qb they could win 4-5 games next year. He has put some of the other pieces into place. Plus it is the worst division in the nfl.

Using your #1 pick to draft an immature whack job, who likely will either flame out or get fucking arrested within his first two years, as your franchise's cornerstone is not "smart".

No, he'll blow his pick on someone who'll be lucky to make it to his third year in the league...

I never said that jameis is a good pick.

In the last year he has made smart moves in free agency and the draft. He has been making the right moves to build his team. He could make a bad one with jameis. I am more commenting on those that said mariotta would do better not being drafted 1 to get on a better team. I'm hoping he rocks the combines and workouts enough that the bucs take him. 8-8 wins the division.

It's a total PR stunt. Is Harbaugh supposed to be some QB guru because Andrew Luck was already really good?
And just look how he improved Kaeperknick... When you have no QB, when your school has had to press WRs into QB duty for the last five years, when your recruiting class doesn't produce an heir apparent, you begin to look for ways to get the spotlight off your deficits and on to what you hope is an asset - emphasis on the ass.
