That's interesting and apparently he didn't pull his usual 'black athletes being persecuted' routine.
A lot of detail in the story too ... with holes.
While police never investigated Jameis or Casher, they did obtain her and her friends phone records, including texts, from service provider. So the texting doesn't hold up.
Jameis claimed she gave him oral, and then he may have left a semen deposit on her clothes. This is a straight up gaffe. The DNA wasn't semen... but his saliva in her panties.
I don't know if that's enough to perjure his testimony in a civil court... but he's both added and deleted material.

FWIW latest scuttlebutt is that he had a conversation with one of the officials that said they're giving FSU every break or something... though it actually sounds more like "we're giving you guys every inch" and who knows the context.
But when you have somebody this crazy, the controversy starts writing itself at some point.

I don't know what the ref said but as the teams were going off the field for half time one of the refs was having a chat w/ crabby and smiling like he just met the fucking royal baby. Not that i think officiating had anything to do w/ the loss. does look bad though. maybe he was just glad jameis hadn't roughed him up yet so far.

And come to think of it, the cops in Oregon aren't as likely to be sympathetic to a visiting Semenole either. FSU better assign someone to padlock Jams into his room when he's not on the playing field.
