Jameis Winston (QB Browns)

Foot-into-mouth syndrome is very serious in Florida.

After watching that interview it's easy to see why the "foot-in-the syndrome" has been so wide spread. Jameis was just doing what the coach does, ie speaking before thinking. All the positive spin on the ball won't make this situation better. Once a duck is thrown, it will remain a duck through it's entire trajectory.

Jimbo has everything under control.

Update: 3:30 p.m.

The Florida State University Athletic Department says the status of running back Karlos Williams is under review after the Tallahassee Police Department said he was the suspect in a domestic battery incident.

FSU Athletics gave the following statement to the Democrat this afternoon:

"The Athletics Department is aware of an investigation by the Tallahassee Police Department involving football student-athlete Karlos Williams. Until we receive more information regarding the alleged incident his status with the team will be under review."

Karlos Williams was in full pads at practice Monday afternoon.

Original Story:

Florida State University running back Karlos Williams is the suspect in a domestic battery case currently under investigation by the Tallahassee Police Department.

"The alleged crime is an active on-going investigation and Florida Law does not allow TPD to discuss the details of any case while it is on-going," the police department said in an afternoon news release.

Officer David Northway, spokesman for TPD, said the agency received the case Saturday night and it was immediately assigned to the agency's Criminal Investigation Division.

"Once the case is complete, it will be released under the guidelines of Florida Public Records Law," he said.

Williams, a senior running back starting this season for the first time in his career, has rushed for 378 yards and seven touchdowns for the undefeated Seminoles.

Tallahassee attorney Tim Jansen says he is representing Williams. He declined to comment.

Except when they discussed details of the Winston alleged sex assualt case with the FSU Athletic Department before the District Attorney.

That was o.k.

Like I said, Jimbo runs a pretty tight ship down there.

Jimbo Fisher Is A Whimpering Penis

Florida State is ranked second overall in the College Football Playoff committee's current rankings, which are determined by a complex mix of computer algorithms and schedule analysis and praying to a magic goldfish for spiritual guidance. And if you're like me, you're hoping that Florida State loses somewhere down the line, so that the committee has a cheap excuse to move them down to, oh … let's say 5000th or so. Because FSU is garbage, and because head coach Jimbo Fisher is a smarmy, whimpering football penis. (cont.)

Surprise here, apparently Free Shoes does not always pay for the athlete's lawyer. At least (if they do) not in a timely manner.

Lawyer drops lawsuit against FSU’s Chris Casher

Four weeks after it was filed, a lawsuit against a current Florida State football player is no more.

According to ESPN.com, a civil lawsuit filed by Tallahassee attorney Adam Ellis against Chris Casher Oct. 1 has been voluntarily dismissed. The suit stated that the defensive end had agreed to pay Ellis $2,500 for his legal services in connection to the May FSU student code of conduct hearing involving Casher; in a July letter, Ellis claimed he had received no payment.

Which still begs the question, who is paying for Winston's lawyer(s)? I'm sure his legal fees far exceed $2,500.

Different lawyer than Jensen (by necessity since Jensen was representing Winston on the same matter) ... my guess is, Casher still hasn't paid Ellis $2500.
