JabriLLL "Ghost" Peppers (New England Patriots)

Heisman watch update:

This cocksucker ran the ball twice and gained a measly 2 yards. He now has 163 yards on 23 carries with 3 TDs (Two of which came again Rutgers, mind you)
He once again played in a game where he failed to catch a football and therefore remains stuck at 2 Receptions for 3 yards. With one game remaining in his college career (likely) he still has zero career interceptions.
Gerbil had one KO return for 18 yards giving him 9 for 216 this season
He also had 4 punt returns for 29 yards, giving him 20 returns for 305 yards on the season.
Finally, he made 5 tackles, two of which were behind the LOS, giving him a career high 59 stops on the season, 13 TFL and 3 sacks. He has 5.5 TFL and one sack in B1G play to go along with 34 total tackles in those 8 games.

He did continue to look like a smug asshole on any graphic where his image was used. So, there's that.

I heard this during the broadcast and didn't quite understand it. Is he really rated somewhere before the 3-4-5 rounds? Jalin Marshall was a more proven asset at his position than Jabreezy.
Peppers could very easily go in anywhere in the 1st round. He's following in the footsteps of the NFL now wanting hybrid LB/S guys who can cover in space.
Marshall wasn't proven at all, IMO. But he has worked his tail off to be a productive NFL player.

If by cover in space you mean be close enough to his man downfield after the completion to drag him down for the tackle, then yes....he's pretty good at that.
He's good enough at that to make a lot of money! Idk what coaches see in him, but that's why I'm on a message board and don't get paid to assess his overrated skills

I was just watching the first half of their game against Colorado. Matt Millen no more than got the "best defensive player in America" words out of his mouth and Gerbil fails to give safety help to the corner for a long TD on the very next play.

Coaches aren't the ones saying anything about him that I can hear. I bet if you did one of those "I talked to anonymous coaches with 10 different NFL franchises" things, you'd get most answers saying they don't think Peppers is worth a shit in the NFL.

Then why the talk of going in the lottery and no worse than the end of the 1st round? The analysts must be getting that info from someone on an NFL team's front office
