My thoughts and prayer are with everyone in the Big Easy. Our major conference is there every three years, and my wife and I love visiting there. New Orleans is perhaps the world's greatest example of cultural meshing, from American, French, Caribbean, African, and even some South American sources to create something entirely unique into and of itself. This potential devastation to the place we love to visit so much is ripping our hearts out. I can only hope it won't be a disaster of biblical proportions, which unfortunately is what is predicted.

Hurricane

Hope all the Buck fans down in Louisiana and Mississippi are well. One of my attorneys works in New Orleans, and the governor has ordered the city evacuated. Also, although the SuperDome was a designated "safe zone" for evacuees, it just lost its roof.

Watching NBC and it looks like the levees have been breached and town is starting to flood.

Not sure how deep the water is yet.

This info. was coming from the Louisiana Governor as she was being interviewed.

Is the threat of flooding still there for NO? I think that is what would be the most catastrophic.

Edit: I know there is some flooding but not like the experts were saying it could be like. From the pictures that I've seen it seems that there is about 5 feet of water in some places while others are fine.
