Unfortunately, it's not new. Do I date myself if I remind people of the Tickle me Elmo riots? Or even earlier, the Cabbage Patch Kids doll riots? There is always an "IT" toy, a must have, a "Omg my child will hate me for the rest of my life if I don't buy him/her this VERY THING."

I'm asking my parents for.. Guess what... absolutely fucking nothing. Maybe to spend the money they would have spent on a gift, instead on the charity of their choice. Or maybe I'll pick it.

Holy shit. It's a fucking video game... Or movie or TV or whatever the hell it may have been. Are you fucking serious? Get your kid a fucking spanking for christmas for being such a spoiled punk, and then tell him to run 5 miles to his aunt's house so you can officially give up your parenting duties once and for all.

Opening early in the morning is a bad idea, and putting valuable things that people riot over on shelves is an even worse idea. Retailers need to not be fucking stupid about it. Put the stuff out of peoples' reach.. and stop with this fake shopping holiday. Make it last more than one day, or just get rid of it altogether. It's a pain in everyone's ass and nobody enjoys it. Half the sales aren't as good as you think, anyways.

I dealt with these greedy, rude people all day today and wanted to injure a few of them for their complete lack of regard for everyone else around. It's really unbelievable. Someone got pissed at me because we were out of WALL-E and she couldn't cut in line because she had other places to go. Slammed her CD on our counter, mumbled some bullshit, and walked out. Go fuck yourself, ma'am. There were other things, but that was the last thing that happened and I found it ridiculous..

It appears that initial report of the pregnant woman losing her baby was incorrect:
