I don't your Buckeye fandom history, but I really started watching Ohio State in 1986. And 1987 (6-4-1) and 1988 (4-6-1) were still pretty recent. 8-4 in 1991 and 8-3-1 in 1992 were good-ish, I guess.

Ha! My freshman year was that ‘88 season. Me and Coop started the same year. I have memories of Woody. Distinct memories of Woody punching Bauman. But EB is the first tOSU coach that I really followed. Up in NWO we got the EB show every Sunday morning after games. But yeah, Coop was my tOSU coach while I was there. I was just fine with good old 8-4 Earle. That said, I do recall thinking that the recruiting under Coop was a very different athlete than the EB models. While I lived in Lincoln Tovar and Spellman were in there with us. By ‘92 it was just a bit of a haze of ‘meh, ok…’ Shorty after I left, things started to take off to more of the current experience.

Normally I would think it’s hilarious but for some reason the arrogance and Schtick of “daddy why fire me, fuck you” is just sickening to me. The parents of the kids on offense should be starting a fucking riots outside of that “athletic center.” Seriously, start turning up the pressure however you can.

Maybe I’m being overly sensitive; this is really bothering me. Those are kids’ college experiences, careers, and potential long term earnings that you could be royally fucking up. That shit is not okay; being a bad coach is one thing but total disregard for the repercussions It has on those to whom you probably made promises are profound.

I would be way less bothered if Kirk just accepted that he fucked up bringing his kid in but he’s just going to let it wreck the entire season. Just fucking gross; utter straw grass bullshit.

like, how the FUCK CAN YOJ SAY “THERE’s NO ROOT CAUSE” how can you seriously be that fucking audacious??
