Fantastic 2nd half. Eliminated mistakes and got scores. Defense was great and got the TOs and stops.

Kaleb didn't deserve the TD.

Defense doing great. Styles had a good first half. Just need to create some turnovers in the 2nd half. Offense is moving the ball but shooting itself in the foot with the turnovers. OL has shown that it is physical and opening holes. Hoping they come out and get a quick score.

Ryan shouldn’t left the starters out as long as Johnson was out there.

Disagree.

The offense is built on running 3 really basic plays - inside zone run, outside zone run and counter.

Once the backups show they can run those 3 basic concepts in game speed against a like opponent, you then start to build upon that with them.

They aren't there yet as a (backup) unit.

Yeah I'd prefer them work on the base running plays and master them with backups. Besides, Brown isn't consistent enough coming off the bench to go in and let it rip.

I'm always surprised by how upset fans get concerning backups playing. The defense rotates a lot and the backup O played the whole 4th last week, so they're more than willing to play them. Usually they don't go from the 1st string to the entire 2nd string, though, and there's value when the backups get to play with starters and get a feel for playing with them.

I mean it sucks we didn’t get the shut out… but man sign me up for this “shit show”.

We turned the ball over twice, lost a drive on downs, and still won by 4 touchdowns vs maybe the best defense we’ll see all year

Iowa was out matched in every area. They kept it close in the first half. But the 2nd half was a blowout. Both the OL and DL dominated.

For me it’s more about getting our QBs and WRs meaningful reps. I don’t ever want to see what I saw in the Bowl game last year again. And if we’re going to run Will then we better have a capable backup.
