Don't want Iowa St, hate teams that just jack up 3s

Speaking of teams that jack up the 3"? That sure is something that Ohio State did not do against Wisconsin in the BTT. We went 0 for 9 attemps in trying to shoot the 3's against Bucky and i feel we are gonna need to rely on the 3 point game against Iona. We are now entering into the area of the unknowns of competiton. We had to fight for everything we got in the games of the BIg and it was a great effort. We knew what to expect from every game we played in the BIG Ten conference. Now its a different story. I hope for a great game from Iona to keep us up on our toes. It seems to ge getting harder every year when the #1 and 2 seeds have to go up against the 14 and 15 seeds.

Most of those were in the 1st half and they had a few fall in the 2nd half....

If DT is on, and my guess is he will be, Iona has to play the game of their lives and Ohio State will need negative offensive performances from Craft, LQ, Lenzelle, Thompson AND Amir/Rav to have a shot.

I don't see that happening.

Speaking of the Hynes Athletic Center, let's take a look at this facility.

The outside is not too bad.

Yet once you get inside, well, there is one thing that comes to mind - high school gym.

Maybe it's the size. The place only seats 2600 (which would be a poor attendance night for many of the local high school football teams). Of course that could be a good thing, heck, no traffic jams after games.

Maybe it's the fact there are zero baseline seats like you see at a local high school gym. I can't believe they don't have those cheap gym mats placed on the walls to help players that drive to the basket and inevitably run into the wall.

Yet I think the thing that screams high school is the state of the art scoreboard.

I bet that thing plays "Charge!" at the press of a button. At least it's nice to see they have local "special surgery" and physical therapy. They are going to need it after Friday.

Dammit, I swore I was going to play nice, especially since this is like shooting fish in a barrel.

Ohio State is clearly going to lose now and I will be spammed to death by the 2 or 3 Iona fans. At least it won't be all at once. They all can't use the public library computer at the same time.

Damn dude, trying prety hard to spike the football. They must have gotten under your skin.

We're Ohio State... They are Iona. Trust me, they know our dick is bigger than theirs without us getting out rulers.

I think you are taking this a little too seriously. Some of you need chill out and realize it's good natured ribbing. Geez, I think I have gotten a little too under your skin.

I think it's Iowa, or something like that.

You know, I have always gotten Iona confused with Iowa because of their uniforms....totally honest here....I've always known Iona because of that confusion and for some big dumbass on their team nearly a decade ago who decided to go pro after his sophomore year and no one in the NBA had ever heard of him.

LOL... the Iona board members are screwing with you guys. I am surprised that many of you have such thin skin, especially playing for years in the shadows of schools like Michigan and Notre Dame. :tongue2:

Some of of the Iona folks found it funny that , in one of the forums, the OSU fans were trying to compare the lists of notable alumni. We certainly have not been around long enough to produce the numbers of graduates to compete with such an illustrious list of alumni as OSU's.... but we hope to someday lift ourselves to the level to produce the likes of Jeffrey Dahmer, Dr. James Howard Snook or Michael Nodianos.

We are looking forward to the game against your squad. I like your team and I think they are a very good squad. The Craft vs MoMo battle will be fun to watch but the game will be decided by Iona's ability/inability to hit the three and contain Thomas.

Good luck to you guys. Lets hope for a good game, A game that both teams play their best, is injury free and the refs do not blow any calls that impact the outcome. Be safe and enjoy!!!

Pretty arrogant to assume that a game between a top 8 team in Ohio State and a mid-major with double digit losses in Iona is going to come down to their ability to hit 3s and to stop Thomas.

Please please please only concentrate on Thomas. I dare you.

Wow, looks like they hang banners for each round of the WNIT.

Yeah tell your boy Craft to cover the guy in the video like glue, here wears number 11 also for Iona. You may want to check if that's the same Lamont Jones; YOU FOOL!!!
[/FONT]

Sorry if I'm not fully brushed up on what number every player wears and who everyone is on a team that placed 4th in the regular season in a conf. that was won by Niagara lol.

Hey Mike80..that is your name on the OSU board right ? You know the one that you don't post on. Why don't you go troll the Iowa state-Notre dame boards since you are so sure OSU will advance. OSU fans sure sound insecure for a bad ass program. I hope our players get under the OSU players skin like Guy has all you trolls twisted. LOL
I've never been called out by a mid-major before :slappy:

I wasn't anywhere near a computer when that guy was posting either.... :ohwell:
