Apparently Sizemore has a banged up knee. I don't know if it's a recent thing like this article seems to allude to, or if it's been bothering him for a while, but it would help explain his anemic offensive output. I find it hard to fathom that a player with that much talent turns into Alvaro Espinoza this quickly...

I wonder if hes really hurt, or its just an excuse for terrible play

You know, with the couple of exceptions, the bullpen has been quite a bit better this season IMO. I'm not recalling nearly as many leads surrendered as the past two years. I guess it also helps that they've been getting solid outings from most of the starters too.
