Indians Tidbits (2010 season)

 It's hard to picture where the runners were, but I was thinking the person on 1st would have only been able to advance to 3rd. I guess if he had already rounded 2nd, he could get home. Maybe they were running on the pitch or something.

Either that or the ball just rolled down the right field line forever. I guess it's also possible the ball got stuck in Marte's stupid, fat head, and he didn't know what to do besides run into the outfield and fall down.

He must have thrown it all the way into the outfield corner where there would be no automatic base advance rule I would guess. Can't WAIT to see the highlight of that one :shake:

Well that was another limp-dick performance like the first game. The offense is really going to have to pick up at spots 5-9, or else this is going to be a really long season, no matter how good the pitching is. Not throwing the ball into the Thames River would help too.

Bring up Santana now before he wastes all of his home runs in the minor leagues. Maybe JP needs to go and AM needs to stay but something needs to happen shortly at third base. Maybe give Santana a shot at third:)

Wow. really? 46 K's in 5 games?

Way to make them work guys.

yep 46 ks compared to 35 hits

these guys just hack at anything thrown at them, zero plate discipline at all

I wonder what the team record for strikeouts in a season is? im sure these guys will make a good run at it

it's really the vets that are hacking terribly. choo, hafner, and peralta have been horrid to start the year. outside of one game, so has grady. and, i simply can't stand peralta. but, he'll turn it on once cleveland is 20 games out of the race. that's what he does.
