Indiana Hoosiers (your shinebox, go f'n get it)

Personally I think OSU outplayed Indiana, and in their own backyard. How many times did we get inside the 10 yard line? How many times did Indiana?

Yes Indiana gave us our toughest test. They confused the Oline for 2.5 quarters. But we had more chances to win that game than Indiana did.

We beat ourselves for the most part. Could have easily been 24-13, at the very least 16-13.
I think we outplayed them, I agree, but I think they outcoached us. Maybe I am biased in this take, because I think Cig is a pretty good coach.

Statistically, the game was equal. Don’t know how anyone can say we outplayed them. Result hinged on results in the opponents territory - they did slightly better than us.

Pretty much my take.

0-16 theoretical points on the table in those two red zone trips. Very small tail chance we consistently get 0 if you played this out 10,000 times but Saturday night, we took the bagel and lost by 3.

Variance.

Don't know about the stats, but watching the game I felt like we had been outplayed most of it. Hell, go back to the game thread (I'm not going to) and you can quote my halftime comment about being outplayed but still winning. We finally played in the 4th quarter (until their final kill clock drive giving up that long bomb), but came up short with some shit 3rd and 1 play calls and shit execution on a QB sneak and FG. Unfortunately, that's a game where you can't basically take 3 quarters off and come away with a win. I'm mostly talking offense here, as the defense did well and were on the field a lot.

I don't want to take anything away from Indiana, except I absolutely do. Fuck them. You want me to get pumped to play fucking Indiana? :slappy: gtfoh

No way. A week after the biggest The Game in 5 years? Before the playoff? In indanapolis? Lmao fat fuckin chance.

Nah we played like shit. Both sides. This team is capable of beating the dog shit out of them. This was some Corso hex or some shit idk. Play em again and we may break the scorekeeping method. Like they'll have to make a new rule that when a team goes up triple digits, Tuddys only count for 4 pts or something I'm not a committee guy you crunch the numbers WHERE THE FUCK IS @DaddyBigBucks?
