Just as long as we keep Washington...From what I've heard...
Matt Thurin will be going with Hafley
Corey Dennis likely going with Hafley
Kenny Anunike has been offered a staff spot, unclear if going so I'd expect he'll stay
Sean Duggan will likely be going with Hafley (near 100% with Thurin)
Corey Dennis already went to CSU with Addazio I thoughtFrom what I've heard...

This.I’m all good with it too. Can’t fault anyone for wanting to better their families position in life. Now if he went for a lateral move, I might have different thoughts. This is a Power 5 HC in a major market, in a region he’s from. More money and perks. Do your thing Hafley.
and???
wait til next year. Hold up your end of the "stated" 2 year commitment like so many others have.
Any coach at the P5 level who thinks another BC type job won't be open again next year is not thinking clearly imo. It's a minor step up from Cincinnati.
He'd better hope he's got a line on a generational QB like Flutie or Ryan then I guess. Shouldn't be too hard, New England being the hotbed of HS football talent that it is and all.
Regardless, I wish him zero fucking luck in his endeavor.
That’s the new age of CFB when you’re successful. Embrace it, and just hope that Day constantly has plan b coaches on speed dialSelfishly, I do not give a shit really about anything regarding Hafley, BC, any other coaches and only care about beating Clemson. And then the winner of LSU/OU. I do not want anything to derail that train. Unfortunately, Hafleys departure might affect the train, and that does piss me off.
I understand he may double his income and don't blame him, but damn if it costs us a chance to win it all then it sucks for us not him and his family.
I hear what you're saying, but no one really gives a fuck what message board bozos like us have to say.

Agree fully.Don't get me wrong, I would love for Hafley to be a lifer, but that very first interview let the whole world know where he was going.
Go back to the beginning of the thread. Everyone loved the shit out of him, and hoped against hope that we could keep him. We knew we couldn't.
We all knew he was going places, and fast. We just wished he would get his gig after two, or three, or, four years.
But that wasn't going to happen.
So now, to see the sour grapes and hate, simply because Day snatched up a blatantly over qualified guy to fix the defense, TO ME, seems entitled and spoiled.
This isn't some guy that grinded out shitty talent at Arkansas and Wisky. (Ashe)
This isn't some guy that grinded hs football teams in Cincy. (Coombs)
This was a LEGIT candidate for best DB coach in the NFL.
When Richard Sherman says, "that's the best coach I've ever had," I pay attention.
When Hafley makes Damon Arnette into a first day pick, I pay attention.
Don't cuss out Hafley. He was overqualied the day he stepped on campus. Rather RECOGNIZE that Ryan Freaking Day has connections that Urban could only dream to have.
And trust that Day will replace Hafley just fine.
