I'm sure the follow-up through Pennsylvania brought some excitement back into your life, though :tongue2:

There are views in southern Ohio that aren't so much different from those.
In about the same quantity as PA has flat, boring land.
Pennsylvania is a big state, much of it no less boring for a driver than Ohio.
I wouldn't say the turnpike is very comparable, and especially not the sideroads. Ohio is filled with a big grid of perpendicular country roads. PA roads are wherever the crazy locals or tractors (usually both) decided to drive.

A country drive in PA is often a lot more adventurous than it needs to be.

I dare say the eastern side of Ohio is predominantly like that. An approximate diagonal from Portsmouth up to Steubenville.

That said, the western part of Ohio is flat as hell. 71 from Columbus to Ciny....yawn. 70 from Columbus to Indy.....yawn. 23/75 from Columbus to Toledo.....yawn.

I'll agree that there are more (and bigger) hills in PA, but Eastern Ohio has plenty of roads that were designed by drunken injuns. (It's okay......I can say that...I'm 1/4th Indian :p)

Neither one is Colorado (which is a pretty awful state until the rockies)

I agree Ohio is nice when it starts becoming Kentucky, West Virginia, PA.
