Maybe he's related to X-Ray Randy and that kid from Maryland (pre Big Ten Maryland) who thought the Terrapins were just one player away from a couple of NCs.Illiniman39's fantasy - "They have solid depth everywhere"
Reality - Eight months ago they fired a coach accused of pressing injured players to play because they had no depth.
You better be as broke as you are over confident in all of your predictions. Or - you will have many on this board taking you up on your offer to "bet" and then taking your money.
We will probably get no 5 star prospects and maybe - hopefully - be lucky to get 4 or 5 4 star prospects. I will be very pleased if that happens for us.
Where are the hand picked recruits you speak of ? I don't see any on our commits list. I like to wait until we have a commit before I count him. Seems like the intelligent way to operate.
We will do better - I agree. But your ramblings are ridiculous now.

This is how it's blatantly obvious he's trolling; he started a thread with this title:
All Time NFL Great Hardy Nickerson Named Defensive Coordinator.
That's right, he referred to Hardy Nickerson as an "All Time NFL Great." He's as subtle as a sledgehammer to the scrotum.
Who is Hardy Nickerson?
Edit: No, really, who is Hardy Nickerson?
Just wait. You'll see. Or saw...past tense...eh, nevermind.Remember when Tony Dungy went to Tampa Bay in 1996 and quickly turned the 'Yucs' into the Bucs, before Gruden sealed the deal with a Vince Lombardi trophy? Nickerson was a solid NFL veteran on those Dungy teams, and -- in fairness -- did go to a bunch of Pro Bowls in the late 90s with Dungy, Lovie Smith (his position coach), and Monte Kiffin calling the defense. However, even in his prime, Nickerson wasn't even the best LB on his own team (Derrick Brooks), or a player that would generate tabloid publicity (Warren Sapp).
Nickerson was an excellent player, but when people recall all time NFL greats from the 1990s, they'll remember guys like Junior Seau and Derrick Thomas.
