No...I'm arguing that THE PLAY IS OVER.

It was the wrong call.

I think we...as Ohio State fans...have had enough calls go the OTHER WAY...to realize that there's still a ballgame to play.

If being tied 7-7 at home, being undefeated, having the defense that we have, and then running right down the field and scoring...getting all the fans back in the game, and still looking like the #1 team in the country...

isn't enough to get us back in the game...

well...that is deflating...isn't it...
There's still a half left...and no doubt...we'll win this game...period...end of story...

Not good coaching (should have challenged two plays), Oline getting eaten alive, defense appears lost.

Other than that, we're fine...:wink2:

2nd half will be a different story.

I'm pretty sure they couldn't have challenged the fumble because if he is ruled down I don't think it can be overturned. The refs should have called it a fumble and if they had it wrong, let it get challenged. That is always my philosophy on close calls for fumbles because if you don't get it right like the refs just did, they can't overturn it, as opposed to calling it a fumble in the first place.

I'm sure he would be happy to hand you the clipboard...nice first post. However, I do agree that he should have used the timeouts in the redzone. Sometimes he does act is if he gets to save them for the next half.

I am sure he has an avalanche of red chiclets for that one.

Actually, there were. Myself included.

No way.. You actually thought we'd run over this team? Way to much team speed for us to just leap over them, as if they weren't on the schedule at all. Defense needs to make the first one three and out, and as I have been repeating like a broken record, short passes, run, then you can set up a few long balls if neccesary.

Once again, I wasn't the only one. Their team speed didn't do much against Iowa.

Two things...

1) There is still another half of football left so remember last week. I seem to remember a game not too long ago that was very similar to the one today. Deja vu in fact. I think we might have gone into halftime down 7 to Wisc just seven days ago. Keep the faith ... the boys will come through.

2) Clay Hall and D. Stanely called it right it right on the pregame show... this game will be decided in the trenches and right now, our O-line is getting man-handled by their D-line. If they can get it together and give Todd some time to throw and the Wells' some holes to run through, things will be okay. If not, probably not.
