It's kind of crazy, I've been watching a lot of ESPN lately and haven't heard much Buckeye bashing at all.

God, I hate to ruin your highlights and all, but is Ron Franklin one of the worst commentators or what? He is so fucking annoying... has 5 has 10... count it off at about 15 yards... every god damn play, shit he sucks as a playcaller, you should have put some music to your highlights to drown out the awful playcalling.

This is going to be a year when the computers and polls will be very close between teams. 30-0 looks a lot better than 23-0. Some computers had the game at a 37 point spread.

Still, I think Ohio State fans might have been upset by that last touchdown, if the shoe were on the other foot. Going for two passing attempts with so little time on the clock was good practice for a team with some concerns in the red zone. But those two plays looked like more than play calls--they looked like they were chosen to send a message that was intentionally emasculating and disrespectful...

Just like the Illinois team members who danced on the logo in Ohio Stadium two years ago and the team that ran onto the field and tried to do the same today.

Tressel normally errs on the side of respect for his foes and fellow coaches. He's the quintessential "take a knee" guy. But, he has his limits. He is not going to send a team--who disrespects his team, stadium, and fans--with the satisfaction of loading the box and shutting down the run.

There was a message here from Jim Tressel to the Illini. "You're not in our heads. You're not playing football at our level. You will show us respect, like it or not."

Zook had some recruiting success in recent years in central Ohio. There also was a message for central Ohioans who play for Illinois. "Play for these guys and this will be your homecoming."

If Illinois were capable of delivering such messages, they certainly would have.

Hello? I think Tressel was trying NOT to score, which is why he stopped running Saine up the middle (which Illinois clearly couldn't defend) and decided to have Pryor pass instead.

Meh. Whatever. OSU's red zone offense needs the work, Pettrey obviously doesn't, and at the rate OSU is going in the polls, JT needs to steal all the style points he can get.

All Illinois fans have a every right to be totally pissed off. Expect thay should be pissed off that Illinois didn't show up with a competitive team; not that Ohio State scored another touchdown late in the 4th quarter after the game may have already been decided.

Fuck everyone.

Do it like the other teams do.

Kick the ever loving shit out of everyone you play, get to the end of the season with one loss and everyone will be singing your praises.

Fuck Illinois. You don't want OSU to score inside the 5 then stop them. Shit, OSU hasn't had much success scoring inside the 5 so I don't know what anyone would be bitching about anyway.

The late TD doesn't bother me at all. I attended a 38-0 shutout last week and saw my team go down another 2 spots in the polls.

These freakin' computers and their slant towards scoring points decide a lot of $$ come bowl time and the Buckeyes want a BCS bid of some kind. Throw in the pre-game trash talk and the 2007 Illini post game and you have your reasons for not taking a knee.

On to Indiana and a tough game.
