If you had to change the outcome of one game in Ohio State history, which would it be?

Any game that cost us a NC. The debacle in the desert most recently. But you can add the 69 Michigan game, 71 Rose Bowl, 73 tie w Michigan, 76 and 79 Rose Bowls to the list also. I guess one of the games with Archie would be my pick. Would have been nice for him to get a NC to go with his Heisman m

Or the '96 game with ND; the one where Holtz bitched to the press, "Why don't you write about my team? Who's Ohio State; did they invent football or somethin'?"

I'm with you that there is no such thing as "enough" when it comes to humiliating scUM or ND but that was a pretty thorough skull fucking as it was.

The loss in the 1976 Rose Bowl to UCLA (23-10)

This was the second meeting between the teams that season; Ohio State handed UCLA its first loss of the season, 41–20, at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on October 4. After the game, Hayes prophetically told his Buckeyes that they would be facing UCLA again in the Rose Bowl; they were the only opponent to score more than fourteen points against Ohio State, and they did it twice.

Hayes brought an 11–0 Ohio State team to Pasadena, featuring two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin. It was a record fourth consecutive appearance for the 62-year-old Hayes, and his eighth and final appearance in the Rose Bowl. It was also a record fourth Rose Bowl start for Griffin; he was the only player to start in four until joined by Brian Cushing of USC in January 2009.

Ohio State capped an undefeated regular season with a 21–14 win over rival Michigan in Ann Arbor and was ranked #1. Ohio State was a heavy favorite to win the Rose Bowl, by two touchdowns or more. The loss cost us the National Championship.

And I was at the game.
