If Tressel retired today, who would you want to replace him?

This got reported as a possible violation, but Spiller said he had invited Tebow to attend his last home basketball game. Tebow was a good friend of Spiller's, and was the only Gator player who came to the game, so it wasn't a violation. And Spiller committed to Clemson.

Florida reported the visit to the SEC the next day, and I'd say that for this incident, Urban Meyer wasn't involved in anything unseemly. I don't believe that this thing with Spiller and Tebow should be cited to tarnish Meyer's reputation. Are you aware of anything else?

I would take Gruden. He was the QB at the University of Dayton when I was growing up if I am not mistaken. If he could bring a few NFL coordinators with him recruiting wouldn't be too bad. Players would be excited about the chance to learn under a SuperBowl Champion coach IMHO.

The faces on the sideline during the game would be worth the price of admission.:osu2:

Thought I'd be crucifed and dinged into oblivion for starting a thread like this, but found that it already existed and I think it's time for a little update.

Currently with the program:
Luke Fickell
Darrell Hazell

Coaching elsewhere:
Greg Schiano
Bo Pelini

Well you can have one or the other, but not both. If we're talking about today, Fickell is still too inexperienced but Hazell is still with the program. Down the road, Hazell might very well be gone, but Fickell will have more experience under his belt.

Would you be happy with either of these guys as your next head coach?

Urban Meyer

He has openly admitted that the Buckeyes are possibly the only ones he would leave the Gators for. He has significantly improved both Utah & the Gators during his tenures there.....and he's also one of the best recruiters.

Having said that I wouldn't ever want to be in that situation....I cannot imagine the Buckeyes without a certain gentleman in his sweatervest walking the sidelines....looking calm as ever. I don't think any coach has JT's temperament.

While your post count is solid, I'm not certain you have the necessary PSII sKiilZ to compete at a big-time program. Maybe a MAC school would be a better fit.
