I can't tell if you're seriously that clueless or being extremely irreverent. Either way, stick around and see if you can't find another topic to have intelligent conversation in. There are plenty around here if you're actually interested. Seeing as you've made the effort to respond a couple of times I'm going to go ahead and assume that you've not simply taken your ball and gone home.

If you did not want to stir the pot, you would not continue to post after saying you are gone. Let's not get hasty with the language thing here.....that's a little petty. This site is loaded with hard core Buckeye fans, so what kind of response did you expect? IMHO, it's a bit closed-minded to think that everyone would be game to your idea. As I stated, I agree with some of it. That being said, Michigan will always be hated on this site. If you don't like it...well, find another place to hang out. If you can understand that idea (the whole Michigan hate thing), well....we enjoy dissenting opinions here at BP. Just try to make it constructive and be ready to defend youself.

The funny thing is, Michigan fans seem to be proud of that game.

I live in Toledo, and this city is split about 50/50 tOSU / tSUN fans, and on my facebook, someone had posted a picture of the final scoreboard from the big house, with a caption of "Best Michigan game ever!", in an album named "It's great to be Michigan Wolverine!!!!!11!".

Once I was done gagging and loling, I was like really? You are proud of the fact that your defense allowed 65 POINTS? Of course you are going to score a ton of points if your defense essentially takes the field for 30 seconds at a time.

That game was like a reverse time of possession struggle.

And morons argue with me, saying "it was more interesting to watch than a 14-7 game." No it fucking isn't, the scoring just becomes groan inducing once both teams reach 35. If you seriously disagree, take your pansy non-defensive ass to the PAC-10 or something.

Its irrelevant to have both schools be good/great during the season. They are hated, they hate us. I think in general it is good for the Big Ten to have Michigan be competitive, and what is good for the Big Ten is good for Ohio State... however on a personal basis, if Illinois Nebraska were to replace Michigan on the "national scene" and continue the make the Big Ten competitive and favorably "perceived" then I'd be ok with that too. As long as we get a chance to crush Michigan.

There seems to be a bit of schizophrenia among BP on this issue. On the one hand, there was immeasurable hand-wringing, teeth-gnashing and irritable bowel syndrome over what the move to Big Ten divisions and a championship game would do to The Game. Conversely, many seem to feel that Michigan masquerading as IU for another decade would have no impact on the greatest rivalry in college athletics.
