I'm biased, but I'd love to see Tommy Frazier on the list. Running the football doesn't get much better than this:

I don't have a problem with Bush and Young being on there. I mean Young was one of the most dominating college players i've ever seen, and IMO, I think that Bush should be higher up. In college, atleast, he was flat out insane.

Archie, and Jim Brown definitely should be Top 10 without question, though.

Who gets #1 now?
I don't have an issue with Archie at #21, rather Jim Brown at #18 is the most glaring absurdity.

Reggie Bush and Vince Young are interesting cases because they're recent players. As time goes by, and another of these lists is done 10 or 20 years from now, I think Bush will be absent, but Young will remain in the Top-20. Those Texas teams were very good, but they weren't "great" or "loaded" or whatever you want to call it without VY. Young virtually beat Michigan and USC all by himself, delivering two of the single greatest Rose Bowl performances ever, and a national title. Really, without VY, those teams would've have been within 10 points of UM or USC (or OU or OSU, for that matter).

Remember this is ESPN talking heads creating this list, my best guess for their top 10

10 Matt Leinhart (He played for USC, DUH)

9 Colt Brennan (It's the Big Island)

8 Carson Palmer (See Leinhart)

7 Mark Sanchez (Just wait until he takes control of the USC juggernaut)

6 Garrett Wolfe (Remember Him?)

5 Chad Henne (All time leading passer and 0-4)

4 Mike Hart (All time leading mouth runner and 0-4)

3 Chris Leak (He played in the SEC, enough said)

2 Ken Dorsey (Mark May thinks we ROBBED him remember?)

1 Tim Tebow (Haven't you heard, he's Superman)

This is how big a joke this list has become, I am way more interested in who wins the Capital One Mascot Challenge than I am in who is number 1 on this list.

What team is that good without their starting QB though? Do you think USC stays within 10 of Texas without Leinart?

Absolutely; the drop off to the second string qb is not that far, and the supporting cast is infinitely better.

W/O Vince Young, USC hangs 50 on Texas.

Give me a break. If you honestly believe USC is within 10 of Texas with JDB at the helm then I find it hard to take anything you say seriously. I don't care if he has Marvin Harrison on one side and Randy Moss on the other, he isn't ready for that stage.

You're joking, right?

I don't see how Young not playing affects how many points USC scores unless your mindset is USC would have the ball more often.

I disagree about Bush. Young should be a lock to make it, but Bush, while he had great talent around him, still averaged an unreal 8.7 ypc his junior year at college. He was such a threat to score every time he touched the ball. Him and Young are two of the most entertaining college players I've ever seen.
