Deion Sanders
Red Grange
O.J. Simpson
Barry Sanders
Herschel Walker
Doak Walker
Marcus Allen
Lawrence Taylor
Ron Dayne
Ricky Williams?
Tommy Frazier?

munoz?
Gale Sayers
reggie white?

I'm guessing you never saw Herschel Walker either. He was a GREAT college running back.

I see no way that Orenthal James Simpson makes the list. He's just too controversial at this point to be on any list of great players.

I almost got crucified for saying this, but, IMO, virtually any college football player before 1960 couldn't hold Charles Rogers' jock-as a a COLLEGE player. Yes, he got stabbed by his baby momma and watched his NFL career "go up in smoke"-I talked w/ someone who went on a recruiting visit to MSU and they said Rogers room looked like a promo booth for Black n' milds...., but, IMO, that boy and Randy Moss are the two best college receivers ever and it isn't even close.

Your opinion is remarkably accurate. If anybody thinks there was a defensive back who played before 1970 that could have limited Moss or Rogers to less than 15 catches for 250 yards they must be high. Putting "greatest" into the title lets you compare eras, but if you're going to the trouble why would you fuck it up like they have this list.

Here's what these morons would come up with for the 3 Greatest Track and Field Athletes of All Time:

3. Jesse Owens
2. Tyson Gay
1. Carl Lewis

WTF?

Although at a lower division school, Jerry Rice was so ridiculously dominant that I have to call him the best college receiver ever, regardless of division.

I dunno, I think you do have to account for the lack of competition. There's a reason why we have these lower divisions, because no team from one of these lower divisions could ever beat, much less even compete, with a traditional power from a D1A major conference.

:bonk:

WTF?

Well, there was this guy at Ohio State named Jack Tatum who would have rung their bells hard enough on their first catch that they'd be jumping from shadows the rest of the game.

There's a reason the weekly hit award is named after him.
