  • Consider registering! Fewer and higher quality ads, no emails you don't want, access to all the forums, download game torrents, private messages, polls, Sportsbook, etc. Even if you just want to lurk, there are a lot of good reasons to register!
Probably covered elsewhere over the years in this thread, but Christmas to me is the time of forced giving. Giving should be because of an individuals desire to do for another not because someone expects a present because they gave you one.

Christmas is getting easier for me every year. My Ex and I have gone in on our sons gift the past couple of years (this year was the XBONE, last year was a TV, etc.) My sisters send me a list with Amazon links for their kids, so that is an easy 10 minute shopping spree on-line. My parents always get gift certificates from all of us.

Decorating takes 20 mins tops (took a bit longer this year as this was the first year of lights outside, but now that the hardware is there, set-up time will be cut in half next year)

I used to hate Christmas when I had to actually go out and buy shit for people. Now that I can do it anytime, anywhere (love on-line shopping and smartphones), I don't find this season as bad.
