If I tried to build a snowman it'd blow right over. Sustained winds of around 30 right now and the snow is too light to pack.

Took an hour to shovel my 25 foot driveway at 8am. Can't even tell it was shoveled now. Damn winds.

I am not even going to attempt that big task, that's why they have snow blowers:biggrin:

News just updated some snowfall totals.

Washington Court House 16"
New Albany 12"
Columbus 12"
Worthington 11.5"
Westerville 11"

There are reports throughout the area that say there are many snow drifts that are 4-6 feet high!

Ugh......I'm jealous :(

This is just fucking silly. I need to move somewhere warm again.

I liked southern California, but it was a temporary assignment in 2004 - but then I had to move back. It didn't snow much in Ohio that year. Good thing too, because it seems the snow shovel only fits my hands for some reason.

Present conditions: Toledo has 6 to 8" of fresh powder, 22 F with a wind chill of 11.

Get me out of here!

Definitely reminds me of the snow in '78. This is just awesome, especially since I'm old enough now to not fall head first into a snowbank (yep, that happened to me in '78, a 6' drift and the only thing showing were my boots.) My mom called me this morning to make sure I didn't try that silly move again... apparently when your child falls head first into a snowbank and can't get out (nor breathe) it is a scary time.

Quit bragging :tongue2:

Was that in a stiff breeze? :wink2:

Actually no, its in an exposed area. I might have had a bit more than that, but it is blowing around a bit.

Springfield always gets more than Dayton and West Chester do anyway :p
