Yeah, all good here. We live in a suburb just south of Omaha. The larger tornado ripped through the W-NW burbs about 8-10 miles from here. I was on my porch geeking out...err...keeping vigilant watch over our house. Had the fam in the basement, was pretty tense for a while.
I started to see some rotation just to our south and ordered the wife/kiddos to the basement. I'm thinking that may have been the start of the formation of the one that hit Eppley.

There were a bunch of chasers pulled off on the side of the highway as I was driving home from work. Surreal as I used to chase occasionally when I was stationed in Illinois.

I heard one hit Elkhorn. When we lived in Omaha our house was on a small hill and we could see Elkhorn from our front porch. We lived there for four plus years and saw some small tornadoes in the area but nothing think the videos from today….

We nearly built our home in Elkhorn, but decided to stay and build in Papillion instead. Seems like we chose wisely. Elkhorn got hit hard.
