What a strange day... dunno what the total accumulation is, don't care, but the first part of the day yesterday was like being hit with 80's style artificial snowmaking machines. TV guy called it sleet, weather app, "small hail" but the fucked up part is, it just rolled off my roof and the cars, so, the first step outside is like a foot deep of whatever that shit is. And it was pretty damn dense so it made a nice mess.

same thing happened in Austin/Houston/San Antonio/FW ... all contractual and because they have a hospital or some other critical infrastructure in the area...

lot of messed up things messed up about this ... there’s more fun to be had with it but thats for the poli forum....

right now there are folks in prolly 250k folks in austin who haven’t had power since early monday morning and wont get it back until maybe tomorrow at best... and the high temp has been in the low 20s today

Well, looks like it gonna get somewhat warmer the next few days, I would say something snarky but I know most people there aren't prepared to deal with that.
