For the second time in 10 years of owning our home we have water in our basement coming in through groundwater saturation in the basement fireplace. Nothing valuable lost since I know better than to leave valuable things on a basement floor in Ohio, but it's really frustrating. Garage door arm ripped out of the vinyl of our 16x9 two car garage door last week, and we need to replace a couple of old TVs, the washer and dryer, range top, and some patio furniture. It's becoming a comedy of errors at the money pit here.

Water in the basement is now just insult to injury. I think I need to just eBay all my toys before mother nature or my kids destroy them all and accept the fact I'm 40 and not allowed to have nice things.

Southwest Monsoon season started 2 weeks early! Strange, record setting weather with lots of rain.
Saw 108 Tuesday! Cooling off now and our friends in Colorado are expecting to get flooding rains this season. Here, too probably.
