Got incredibly lucky while at Camp Lejeune for two weeks that the weather relatively held out. It had rained significantly and was in the low to mid 90's leading up until we got there & it stayed virtually dry and in the high 80's the whole time, which was a big relief with the high humidity. The bugs on the other hand were a whole different story.

Have a golf outing this afternoon. Going to be brutal. Triple digit heat index forecasted for today.
We all melted. Half the people left right after they got off the course because they felt sick from the heat. I just got home and feel like I ran 20 miles non-stop. Ugh.

On a better note, me and my partner faired well, top 10 team finish.

Time to go jump in the pool and relax for awhile

Where you at?

I'm in Clearwater, and it wasn't bad.

It got up to about 110 heat index here in the swamps of Central Florida, absolutely miserable. It was like a fat, wet slap in the face after the comfortable temps in Ohio and Niagara Falls for a week. Can't wait for the cool-down and the fall temps to kick in (i.e. low 80s for the high and lower humidity).

65 and Sunny, light breeze. You can wear whatever you'd like and be perfectly comfortable. No A/C needed, no furnace necessary. You might need a light
sweater at night. Football + perfect Labor Day weather. Now THIS the time of the year that makes living in Ohio all worth while.

How do low temps in the middle 30s on Sunday morning sound?
