I open my blinds this morning to find about a half inch on the ground with it sleeting.

Looking at the movement of the storm, we'll be lucky if we get much more snow

Yeah...but anywhere north and west of us is getting buried.

Always bet on rain when they say rain and snow....

Got about 4-5 inches of snow in the past 3-4 hours and it's still falling. I can tell my 20 minute commute is going to be more like 2 hours on the way home tonight.

Can't wait. :ohwell:

82 and partly cloudy down here. Might see the very tail end of the system dumping all that snow up north later today, but most likely be quickly passing rain storms.

If you're talking about Florida I'll take our winters over your summers. I can't stand heat and humidity. Last winter here was great.

I could do without a foot of snow, though, when I have to drive. If it was Saturday I'd just stay in and watch football.

Common misconception. Not everywhere in Florida is Orlando, the cityswamp. There were higher temps and humidity in the Midwest than down here on the tip of America's penis the past couple of years. Summers are not nearly as bad when you are near the coast since you always have an ocean breeze going.

Yeah, that ocean breeze just takes away the humidity. I wish I had known that when I spent a couple weeks in Daytona Beach in July.

Your fall football stadium is still 90 degrees outside of the stadium, which means metal bleachers, let alone the rubber radiating field, are 10-20 degrees hotter.
