Same here. Haven't been even slightly scared by a storm since the age of eight. That shit the other night had me combing my beard. You couldn't even hear the fuckin' sirens because of the ridiculously loud sound of the wind. It was so loud...the noise was what freaked me out a bit. Deep, loud...just like a train...like they told us in school.

Exactly. I've always heard tornado witnesses/survivors say "it sounded like a train." I figured that was a gross exaggeration.

Nope.

Some huge tornados just went through arkansas. Sounds like some towns may be destroyed. Hope, like in St Louis, that there are no deaths from this.

Going to be rough over the next two days and it also looks like Ohio could get in on some of the severe/tornadic weather on top of all the rain

Watching The Weather Channel... Dr. Forbes is pretty confident Tuscaloosa, AL is getting hit by a huge tornado and is going to hit the University of Alabama. Lots of activity down south, stay safe any BPers that are down there.

EDIT: Here's a live feed from a local station: http://dannews.co.nz/2011/04/28/wat...oosa-university-of-alabama-campus-is-at-risk/

had the live feed on CNN. Looked like an EF-3 tornado. Mayor was just on TWC and said the tornado went over city hall and skirted the alabama campus
