Good thing you'll be at a home in front of the tv drinking a cold beer

Give the wife some slack when she gets home - if the dinner is a little late, you can scowl, but don't say anything...the poor dear is likely dehydrated.

We had a huge, but quick, thunderstorm here the other day and at least one tornado in Brooklyn, that killed one.

I loved the brief thunder and lightning I heard-- I was on the subway for most of it. I actually left work early at the first thunderstrike to try to get home and enjoy it. I really miss thunderstorms in Ohio, which were so common. I used to sit on our swing in the screened in porch and watch them with my mother. I absolutely love thunderstorms. . .

Very rare stuff for here though.
