i would think Tressel and the OSU players have spent enough time in cold climates to be able to practice in cold weather.

don't know why they were scheduled to practice outside anyway.
seems they would WANT to practice indoors on at least similar turf to what the Superdome has.

back on topic.

we're back in the mid-high 70's

I wasn't implying they weren't fully capable of practicing in cold weather. Most of the players practiced in cold weather plenty before they even got to tOSU.

You don't know why they were scheduled to practice outside when the NC game was being played in a dome in LSU's home state? Come to Columbus for a game in late November. Y'all can practice in the WHAC. It's climate controlled.

by tomorrow night, we should be getting some nastiness from Hurricane Ida.

the bitch should stay far enough east for my hometown to avoid anything major, just gonna be a lil windy with a bunch of rain.

I don't hate you as much right now.

where exactly do you live? grand isle? cut off? (i mean this in a generic sense, i do not need your street address)

a town called Montegut.
Southwest of Cut Off, Northwest of GrandIsle.

Not far from Cocodrie or Pointe-Aux-Chenes if you're familiar with that area.

That radar doesn't look Tropical at all at least by definition. They are going to keep calling it a Tropical Storm just to keep up the hype, but NHC knows it's not actually a "Tropical" type storm anymore.

was a Cat 2 last night.
but conditions were not even close to favorable in the Gulf for this thing.

water temps dropped pretty drastically as it moved north, plus found a lot of wind sheer.

sometime this morning, it was no longer at Hurricane strength and weakening pretty quickly.
