Amazing pictures; but since your last tornado they have changed the classification scales. That looks like a solid EF 1 to me. Was the NWS out already to asses the damage?
Only damage noted on the news was that a golf cart got picked up and tossed. :slappy:

What's even better are the guys building the house just standing on the roof watching, smooth move fellas. That's exactly where I would want to be.
Since tornadoes are extremely rare here, the Mokes don't know any better. "Eh brah! Try look!"

Eh, if Mili is correct and it was an "F-0"...the highest windspeed is what...85mph? I've been on twelve foot poured walls (8" thick) holding a three foot by eight foot aluminum panel and although it was a bit shaky...not really all THAT scary.
I think the estimated max winds were 80 mph. Seriously, I consider the thing to have been a huge-assed dust devil...

Yesterday we had the first tornado on Oahu since I've been in Hawaii (there was a waterspout that came ashore and up the hills a few years back, but that didn't count). I think it was actually a dust devil on roids, but since it reached from ground to the clouds (and at least one witness said it grew out of the cloud and not from the ground), it was technically a tornado. It was categorized as an F0 (weakest) and occured in Kapolei which is about 15 miles west of Honolulu and about 10 miles from Mililani:

Hold onto your fez, i couldn't resist commenting. I hope no one was hurt in Oahu, these guys may be the source of strange weather patterns all over the world.

Beautiful on campus. About 65 and sunny with no clouds and a slight breeze about 5-10 mph. Gotta love it in February.

Then March comes in and [censored]s on you. Snowed for like 2 1/2 hours today. The once every three years snow for Atlanta. It's going to get pretty cold tonight too, so all this melted snow and rain from the past two days may all freeze over and shut down the city. Seriously.

I had a fun drive coming over to the east coast of NC today. I stayed in Beckley WVA last night and woke up to a car with about 1/4" of ice on it.

I drove through mostly snow and ice rain as I was heading out of WVA into NC. Once I hit the top of NC it rained harder than hell all the way from Mt. Airy to east of Raleigh....

Welcome to the South.....silly me I brought my golf clubs...

Gonna get up to 72 today and will remain in the 60's for the rest of the week. I'm off work Thursday-Saturday and plan on hitting the links with my shiny new Taylor Made's for the first time. :groove:

Supposed to warm up as the week goes on to mid 50's but rain all weekend :( I was hoping to maybe get to the range!!
