How many DVDs do you own?

I am starting a DVD collection because A: I'm a movie nut & B: going to Blockbuster (only video store nearby) at $4.25 a pop is pretty ridiculous...might as well buy it I say.

Anyways, I was wondering who on BP has the largest DVD collection. I only have like 54, but it's growing by the week now that I have all this dang free time.

Personal faves include: Braveheart, Whipped, Gladiator, Garden State, Black Hawk Down, The Beach...& then some.

How many do you have?

548 DVD's. Somewhere in the 700's if you include the movies I burned with the DVD burner. :pimp:
A few of my favorites include: Braveheart, The Patriot, Gladiator, Training Day, Underworld movies, and all three of the blade movies. But the best is the 2003 Buckeye National Championship game. :gobucks3: :gobucks4:

Not to seriously offend anyone, but people who actually buy DVD titles are idiots. Try checking out your local library. I live in a little shit town and our library gets the "New Releases" the day they become available for purchase. Yours probably does to. Same thing with music CD's. I could never understand this train of thought. Why buy something that just sits in your living room and does nothing for you except for maybe one or two times a year? And I'm NOT talking about your wife!

not many at all. The kids have some but I happen to think it is a waste of money. I very rarely have an oppurtunity to sit down long enough to watch a movie and if I do I typically like to see something I have never seen before.
