Well, to start off, I had my alarm set for noon. I went to bed around midnight, and I need my 12hrs. Anywho, my two year old daughter, whom I've seen every day since her birth, woke m me up with kisses at 11:45 I HATE waking up before my alarm! I know what you're thinking. How could it get worse? Well, my girlfriend beings me a t-bone and eggs for my daily breakfast in bed...but she knows I love ribeyes! Eh, I'll just stop there, I don't want anyone shedding a tear at my sad story, and it only gets worse from there.

Business Trip From Hell

Rather than start a new thread, I thought I would just add my Business Trip from Hell here since it is work related.

It started with getting to the airport and finding that I had to wait longer than normal to get the bus in from the parking lot. This began the timing throw off. Since I was traveling internationally, I had to go to the ticket counter to get my ticket only to find a bevy of families, most of whom acted liked they had never traveled before, in line. Wait, this is a Tuesday in the middle of October, so what gives?? Of course you know what this means eventually for security, right. So, as I get my turn at the counter, the system can't find my reservation. Note to self, don't fly United.

So, now that I have gotten through the cluster fuck that is security, I grab a Starbucks, which was a whole other story that I won't bore you with, and head to my gate. On the way to the gate my strap on my computer bag breaks sending my laptop crashing to the ground. Whoboy now what.

I get to O'Hare only to not find my flight listed on any monitor, now what. Finally, get some help and get bused to the terminal just in time to catch my flight to Toronto. Once in Toronto, I navigate the poorly signed concourse, not having gotten stopped in customs, to find the train to the place to pickup my rental car. 10 hours later the driver comes and gets me to take me to a rental car shop stuck in a hotel where I get the best POS money can get. Ok, I am on the road to the client. Wait, detour after detour later, I finally find my destination. Not that the client is calling wondering where I am or anything. A couple of hellish meetings later, I wander off to my hotel and a good beer or 2.

So, today I get into my suitcase only to find, hey I forgot to pack my dress shirts, OH SHIT! Luckily I have a shirt I can wear and don't have to wear my shirt from the previous day. Another day of seriously shitty meetings now complete, I look forward to the Managers reception at the hotel and some free food and booze. Of course I have to go to the mall to get a new computer bag and a dress shirt tonight, first.

Stay tuned tomorrow to see if I make it home!!!!

Unfortunately, she ^ doesn't work at my office.

But it's friday, it's pay day, it's football season, and it's almost lunch time. Could be worse.

Well I just got an email from a company in which I applied for a job with. Yeah I'm not being considered.

I feel your pain, I was just told that I wasn't a "fit" for the role I recently interviewed for with a company. I felt like saying, why because I have more experience and background in this area than you?

So currently on my fourth week on the road and feeling rode hard......

If I could resolve it, you fucking retards.... I wouldn't have opened it.
