How does work make you feel today?

Good day so far. Left the house with a dollar in my wallet (the remaining budget money I allow myself to have for incidentals/lunch until next pay).

Got to work and a $30 reimbursement check is waiting for me. At lunch, I am meeting one of my new employees to see how things are going with his clients, and he has $100 for me that I won in a World Series pool.

Start the day with a $1, will end the day with over $100 (after I pay for lunch). Not to shabby. :)

Dear Management:

Please continue to hire people who aren't educated in our field and \ or have no experience relative to what we do and are therefore clueless. Please ensure that these folks feel empowered to aggressively debate subjects which they don't understand and attempt to muck up solid business processes. Finally, encourage more meetings with out agendas that end with "let's go away and think about it and get back together", so that our productivity and profitability can shrink to record lows.

Thank you for your support

I have great bosses and my employer really understands employee issues. My brother passed away yesterday and I needed the time to sort things out, make arrangements, and get through this. I was supposed to go on a pre-proposal walk through yesterday and they handled it for me. Granted many employers have bereavement programs, but my company passes with flying colors.

The Buckeye Nation lost another fan yesterday, at least one on earth. I look at it this way, the Buckeye Nation now has Doug and the entire communion of Saints pulling for them from upstairs! Nov 1 was All Saints Day!
