I literally had to resort to counting dried beans today to make someone understand something. If you leave in the morning with 63 products, return with 7 you've sold 56, right? This dumb bitch insisted that no, she only sold 53. So I ask her what happened to the other 3? She's getting confused and insisting that she's counting correctly, she shows me her piece of paper with her chicken scratch writing proving to me that 63-7=53. I got some beans, counted out 63, took away 7 and asked her how many were left. She counted them and to her shock they were 56 left. "ay carramba en la madre!".

One more week.... BTW, I can't even give them a calculator to use, they have no clue what the basic mathematical signs are for adding and subtracting and don't even ask them to multiply or divide. The worst part is that these people handle money. To this one's credit her bank is usually pretty close everyday whereas I have others that if they're within ten bucks, I'm happy.

They're trying to make me wear an orange vest so the people that work for me can find me with greater ease. I have five people under me during off-peak season. If they don't recognize the 6'2" bearded motherfucker that has been their boss for over a year and worked along side them for another year prior, then I don't see an orange vest rectifying this.

Also, I'm 33 years old. I dress myself. If I'm going to wear a ridiculous orange vest at work, I'll go back to construction and make better money.

Started the day at 7:15 with a semi-annual board meeting (that's what I get for volunteering) and heading to a local yokel awards dinner tonight after work. :sleep1:

With any luck, I'll be home by 8:30...probably more like 9:00.
