How does work make you feel today?

Just got a call and will hopefully be having an interview tomorrow morning or Monday! Not quite the big step up that I was hoping for, but if it gets me back down here in Orlando permanently, I'm perfectly content with that.

Also, I seem to have a propensity for choosing safety audit weeks to come down and pick up my hours. Just found out that auditors are in my park today...what fun... :bonk:

It has been very frustrating this week. I think I posted about the worthless piece of crap that was forced on me to do AP and AR for the company, and now that she is gone (thank goodness) me and one of my other employees are trying to clean up the mess she left. Every time we think we are getting close to being finished, we come across another landmine. Here it is at the end of January, and I am still reconciling November. Ugh.

How a person posts one sided transactions in accounting software when said person supposedly has been and bookkeeper for 30+ years is beyond my comprehension. :shake:

Shit, you have to cover your tracks better than that. Amateurs. :shake:

I really can't stand greedy people.

Unfortunately my office is in a warehouse. And the warehouse people are pretty low income folks who didn't finish HS, etc whatever. I'm so not trying to say I'm better than them. Just laying out the type of people that work here. I feel bad for this one lady, her husband was diagnosed with cancer in the throat so they had to remove his vocal chords, because he smoked. The guy is like 34. I don't wish that kind of pain for anyone.

But the lady comes into lunch today (unfortunately had to take an early lunch so I had to eat with these people) and starts bitching up a storm. Come to find out, some cancer society is paying for everything for this guy (medical bills, surgeries, etc) which is great. They're even giving her hundreds of $ in gas cards and grocery store gift cards. But she's bitching up a storm because her mother in law paid $250 to cover anesthesia and her mother in law wants her to pay her back. She's bitching about it the entire time she's in the lunch room.

I really feel bad for her husband and kids, but stop being a little greedy bitch. Especially when you have all this stuff given to you, when you know the damn consequences of smoking. Stop playing the "woah is me" card
