Just put an offer in on a house, so my concentration is nowhere near work today. Other than that, can't complain.

Pretty great-just had two former students both visit. One was on leave from the Marines and it's so nice to see the transformation between 17 and 24. My job has very few instant gratification moments, but the good moments are truly worth waiting for.

Researching the Magic!
I can't get a single lead on anything in Orlando because I don't have an Orlando address. So annoying. I got a call for a slightly better position in Operations at the Mouse while I was down for my two week trip (yay for internal postings), but they needed someone within the week...of the week I left on Tuesday. Hoping one of my many other internal apps sticks, and I get a reply soon.

Wooo!
I've been coasting since moving to c-bus. Seeing old friends, happy to buy a car, etc. I almost took random jobs to fill the time and get away from law, manual labor stuff through old friends (hey, I need to get into shape anyway). I just got one decent offer through a contact last night, and this morning I found out that one of the few huge corporations in Columbus wants me to come in to be counsel for securities issues. Cushy and well paying (very). Yay! This sounds awful in a way, as I haven't applied anywhere which makes me lazy compared to some well qualified people busting their asses, but this is also what is awesome about Ohio: old good friends spreading the word and trying to help.
But now I'll have to get off my ass. Oh well.
