Off to a poor start. Roomates parked my car in so I tried to drive it into the grass (we have a circular driveway surrounding our house) and got stuck and I've got nobody who can pull the car out right now; our maintenance people are all MIA on a tuesday morning

I'm going to go insane.

I try and help you, you don't listen
I tell you how to do something, you do it the wrong way
You ask me a question, I tell you the answer, and you ignore it
I tell you how to do something the correct way, you still don't do it the correct way
I tell you how to do something the most efficient and effective way, and you take the long way

If it were up to me, I would have fired this broad a long time ago

Being back in the parks is great. I wasn't happy spending 6 hours of my 8 hour shift at the slowest station we have last night (our deployment system hated me last night, never sent me somewhere else after my breaks :lol: ), but it sure did beat being stuck behind a computer. Now if I can get a call from one of the other park's HR departments, I will be one very happy person.

Little advice, don't get too worked up over people like that. Do what I do and start giving them one of the following when they ask you something:

a.) I don't know, it is your job, figure it out yourself.
b.) I don't have time for this, go ask someone else.
c.) You never listen to what I say, so why in the hell are you asking me?

When you can't fire someone yourself, the best thing to do is to subtly make their job hell and they will either quit or end up really fucking up and get fired/transferred.

Recently I was stuck with a woman like you describe. She lasted 2 months before she was finally yanked from the spot by the owner, had her time and pay cut since her old job had been 60% farmed out to others, and I don't have to deal with her anymore.

Problem is she's been with the company for like 20+ years. So they won't let her go. And I'm hoping to get out of there asap anyways. It's just frustrating because she's an idiot.
