How do YOU watch the Bucks?

Anywhere I can.

In the shoe -- usually once a year.

Mostly, at home in front of the plasma and close to the keg in the basement -- generally I like to be more or less alone while I'm watching. I do tend to rewind plays quite a bit. I'm sure that I'm very frustrating to be around during the game.

One away game per year. I like Purdue and NW due to proximity. Guess that Wisky is close enough but I'll never take my family up there for one of our games.

This week will be interesting. I'll be slingboxing to my AT&T 8525 while camping with my family in the Dells (WI). Weather is looking bad and the folks that we're going to be with are all talking about the chance of heading home on Saturday if the weather turns to crap... but if not... I'm covered -- For those of you who are interested in the slingbox... It's pretty much as advertised. Over broadband it's pretty damn good. Over the mobile phone YMMV depending on how many bars you've got... but it's a hell of a lot better than an auto-refresh on mobile.espn.com... which I've done in the past.

Whenever possible, I watch the games alone, at home, in the living room. The wivey knows that I do not like to be interrupted during game time or to walk in front of the TV while a play is going on. She usually stays in another room and reads or watches TV. She'll come in every once in a while to find out the score of the game. Sometimes she runs errands or goes shopping. She is supportive of my addiction. :tongue2:

When the game is not on TV, I'll go to a sports bar in town. Thankfully, almost all the Buck fans are real knowledgeable. One even played for the Bucks many, many, moons ago. So it's a pretty great environment to watch the games.

I'm with you S&G. Sounds much like game day in my house. My wife also supports my addiction. Although, someone scheduled a Halloween party that night that she wanted me to attend. They are even bringing in TVs to watch the game to save some of the spouses who are equally as addicted. Despite these last minute attempts, this Buckeye fan will be at home watching on his big screen.

I also go online with BP during the game adding another dimension to the entertainment! Can't do that at the party.

And rightly so!!

I work a lot on weekends (my busiest days) but always schedule clients around the games. Gotta have the priorities straight! :tongue2:

How do I watch?

I watch the game at home usually (except for a few times a year I watch in the Shoe) in front of my 56 inch DLP. My 5 year old sits next to me or on my lap and he has been able to say "Go Bucks" since he was less than a year old. We have a beer or two or more, (Me, a Labaat Blue Light and Him, Root). Between yelling at the zebras and the announcers, we have one of the following: Home-made Pizza, Nachos and Salsa, Bar-B-Que, or Wings.

If we go to the Shoe, usually it is my older son and we stop at a nice place to eat on Olentangy River Road and then the Shoe.

But always: GO BUCKS:osu:

Roger that. Mine's a good sport about it and finds places to be during the game. Errands, shopping, work, cleaning, anything to not be around me. Good woman.

I watch dead sober by myself so I can be as big of as asshole as I like when I don't like something.

However, the wife is having friends from work over late Saturday night, arriving about 10:30. I'm not sure they have any idea what they are in for. I made some concessions and watched the 4th quarter in the bedroom last weekend since she was babysitting her employer's children. No such luck this weekend.

I'm going to be a spectacle to these poor, unsuspecting fools.

I may be in the minority but if I'm not at the Shoe I'd rather rather watch the game with the smallest amount of people as possible. I had to watch the Purdue game at a sports bar with a bunch of people and afterwards I felt like I didn't even see the game.

If you're in the minority, then I'm there too. If I want to go to a party, I'll go to a party. When I wanna watch the Bucks, I'm watching the Bucks.
